One morning recently, walking down at the waterline, we find the flags in front of the newly opened House of Awakened Culture behaving strangely. Whichever way looked at, the Suquamish flag furls gently in the breeze while the Stars and Stripes is resolute in its refusal to fly.
Tangled up in blue of Indian affairs write large against the sky.
